Company History
The Stephenson Mansell Group (SMG) is Australia’s foremost Executive Coaching and Leadership Development organisation. Over the past 9 years, our coaches have had the privilege of working with over 2500 executives in more than 190 organisations both nationally and internationally. The firm now includes 30 coaches with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The Stephenson Partnership and Mansell Group merged in September 2005 to form Stephenson Mansell Group (SMG). Both organisations are unique in the field of executive development. Leveraging off the diverse and complimentary experience and capabilities, positions the Stephenson Mansell Group as the leading organisation in executive development in Australia.
Our Coaches
Our coaches are all professionals having operated as senior executives with demonstrable achievement in business and in leadership and who share a passion for developing others. In addition, each coach maintains direct business involvement and a commitment to their ongoing professional development including the consistent application of Stephenson Mansell Group’s processes.
The ability to consistently achieve sustainable change and maintain the highest standards of professional executive coaching relies on extensive corporate experience, a deep level of emotional intelligence, and a compassionate understanding of human behaviour. Our Focus
SMG believes it has the responsibility to ensure that every coaching program should deliver measurable benefits to both participating individuals and the client organisation.
To this end, a thorough needs analysis is conducted for each program participant thereby ensuring a collaborative and solutions focused and results orientated approach. Information from sources such as the individuals themselves, line executives, performance reviews, role review, career review, 360° surveys, psychological assessments are all used to complement the solution focused approach.
A specific development plan is generated by the participant and agreed with all appropriate parties with the purpose of enhancing the executive’s performance and life experiences through self directed learning and personal growth interventions.
