Jon is one of our most experienced Coach/Mentors having joined the firm at its inception in 1998. The experience Jon has of sixteen years as a Senior Executive and CEO and over fifteen years as a Board member serving as Chairman, Director and Audit and Risk Committee Chair provides executives with a sounding board with a deep understanding of their role and its challenges.
Jon is the Chairman of the joint venture developing the $1.2billion Rouse Hill Regional Centre in Sydney’s north-west and the Chairman of the NSW Ambulance Advisory Council. He was the Chairman of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority from 2004 to 2007 and in total served on its Board for over eleven years. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jon’s coaching approach has been built on the foundations of adult learning principles, his understanding of leadership behaviours, the origins of individual behaviours and Integral Coaching principles.
Jon’s coaching and mentoring participants describe him as non-judgemental, compassionate, supportive and persistent.
Jon believes that relationships are fundamental to successful leadership including one’s relationship with their organisation, their boss and their self-confidence.
Jon has coached and mentored individuals and groups.
He pioneered a Leadership Development program for the NSW Public Sector in 2001 and has conducted it annually since, attracting over 75 executives from across the Sector in that time.
Jon’s client list includes both private and public sector entities including Finance, Property and Development, Professional Services, Education, Regulatory, Human Services, Health, Engineering and FMCG.
