Phillip is an empathic, pragmatic and structured professional who is becoming increasingly sought after as an executive coach, mentor and leadership development advisor. Phillip draws on his extensive experience and qualifications to achieve the best outcomes for his clients.

 

Phillip has over thirty years experience as a senior executive in rapidly changing organisations with multiple stakeholders delivering to a wide constituency.

 

Phillip has held CEO, Senior Director and Chairman positions with budgets up to $400million.

 

Phillip has two degrees from the University of New South Wales, has taken short courses at a number of academic institutions including AGSM and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Phillip draws on multiple approaches when coaching. He is convinced that if change is to occur either individually or organisationally then the behaviours of the past need to give way to the behaviours of the present and the future. Changing ways of operating requires careful attention and review, and coaching provides the necessary processes and insights.

 

In recent times, Phillip has worked with senior executives from a wide range of industries including manufacturing, engineering, legal, mining, services, government and not for profits. In addition to one on one coaching, Phillip is working with the top teams of major national and international organisations.

 

Phillip has developed an international coaching program meeting with participants every two to three months, sometimes “shadowing” them in their roles for two or three days. In between face to face sessions, Phillip coaches by telephone and Skype.

 

Volunteering has been a major part of Philip’s career. Currently, he is a non-executive director of Foodbank NSW where he was Chairman from 2002 to 2007.
