Roy Woodhouse developed his professional career working with the Baillieu family in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. He held various executive roles including Chairman of Knight Frank Asia Pacific, CEO of Knight Frank Australia, Director of L.J. Hooker and Chair of Knight Frank Price Waterhouse.
Roy subsequently served for a period as Chair of Accor Hotels Premier Vacation Club.
A member of the Transfield Holdings Advisory Board, in recent times Roy formed a joint venture with Transfield Holdings which acquired Charter Hall - now listed - where he is Deputy Chair. The JV also acquired the Campus Living student accommodation business with over 30,000 rooms in Australia and the U.S.
Roy is a major shareholder and Chair of National Recycling Group and the Stephenson Mansell Group.
Roy is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and was a Fellow of the Institute of Property Valuers and member of the Committee for Sydney and Melbourne. Roy is also a member of World President’s Organisation.
